A member of the Exeter Massage Therapy Team, Jennifer Nyman has more than eighteen years of experience in the field of social work. She considers that being a social worker/counsellor is truly a personal calling to support those struggling with or navigating through the challenges of life, whether they be day-to-day, or larger life events that can feel like too much to process on one’s own.
“My passion for being a therapist comes from knowing the difference it can make to have somewhere you can feel safe, supported, and heard,” Jennifer notes. “I believe therapy is a tool to help you build strengths to navigate life, moving towards personal growth and independence.”
Jennifer is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, with varied experience serving in the areas of child protection, school and community outreach, as well as health care in home and hospital settings.
